For groups working in the Champlain Basin, you can pass this event on to people in your communities. The Franklin Stormwater Collaborative and Friends of Northern Lake Champlain are hosting an informational evening on managing stormwater on people’s property and in communities. Learn about practices you can implement to slow, spread, sink, and treat the stormwater that runs off your roof or driveway. They'll also discuss how these practices work to prevent flooding and reduce the amount of phosphorus and pollutants that are transported into natural waterways.
Our speakers include Jillian Sarazan, Green Infrastructure Collaborative Coordinator with the Lake Champlain Sea Grant, and Michele Carlson, owner of Carlson Design & Planning. For more information, click here.
