WUV is pleased to be working with Becky Tharp of Watershed Consulting Associates and Ann Smith of AES Consulting to provide stormwater management training to watershed groups and conservation districts. We will offer two half-day trainings (one in the northwest part of Vermont and one TBD) at the end of June/early July. The intention of the training is to expand groups’ ability to manage stormwater projects in your watershed. There will be a pre-workshop assignment to best prepare groups for the training and we will also have follow-up consulting hours available for a few groups. The trainings are supported by a DEC Clean Water Initiative Partnership grant. The trainings are free and some stipends will be available to participants to help cover travel and staff expenses. I have discussed this opportunity with some of you individually already, but we would like any watershed group or district interested in expanding their stormwater work participate in the training.
