WUV's DEC Woody Buffer block grant application and grant guidelines are now available. This Woody Buffer Block Grant from the Vermont Department of Environmental Conservation is for WUV to subgrant funds to watershed groups to plant woody riparian buffers to improve water quality. WUV is soliciting applications for site-specific plantings for spring and fall of 2022 (2023 applications will be made available at a later date). Through this funding WUV has ~250k to support riparian buffer plantings across the state.  Please review the grant guidelines for additional details on buffer and site requirements.
