The Central Vermont Regional Planning Commission (CVRPC) will be conducting an outreach event on the development of the Winooski River Tactical Basin Plan at the Calais Town Hall. The Basin Plan is being developed by the Vermont Agency of Natural Resources and its purpose is to create a plan to guide future actions for water quality improvement in the Winooski River and its various tributaries such as the Kingsbury Branch and the Pekin Brook.  One key factor in the planning process is soliciting input from stakeholders, such as municipalities.  If you are interested in learning more about the Basin Planning process and what is included in the plan, please come!  We are particularly looking for input from communities about what is important to them to be included in the plan.  This is your opportunity for input!  Particular actions included in the plan will be eligible in the future for Clean Water Initiative funding through the ANR.
